Dark Souls Crash On Startup Dsfix
I already posted this on the Dark Souls subreddit, but I figured this might be a better place to post it given the technical nature of my question. So, a while ago, I switched to windows 10, and I remember that when I had first done it I had some issues with running DS that I was eventually able to.

I've used x360ce to play Dark Souls with my cheap.ty PS2-like controller for a while with no problems (it was kind of a pain to install as I had to try many versions of the dll and the one that ended up working listed the wrong version of VB as requirement).That is, until today, when, to unentangle the controller's cable, I unplugged it while the game was starting up. X360ce gave me an error message stating that the controller was not plugged. I plugged it back in and selected 'retry' from the dialog, but Dark Souls crashed. And it has kept on crashing on startup ever since. Removing all the x360ce stuff from the game's folder makes Dark Souls work, but of course I'm left with no controller.I've tried reinstalling x360ce using the same files I was using before, but to no avail.Is there anything I can do to fix this, short of reinstalling Dark Souls, DSfix and x360ce from scratch (which I'd rather avoid)?

Dark Souls FPS Unlock = Instant Crash - posted in Dark Souls Mod Troubleshooting: Dark Souls crashes on startup when I set the unlock fps option in dsfix to 1 so I can go above 30 fps. Does anyone know any cause for this? I'm very sure my computer can handle above 30 fps in it if not at 60.
