Sleep Mode Disappeared Windows 10
At first, I thought that this was normal. I thought that this is how 10 was meant to work, though I wasn’t comfortable with this because the sleep mode was very useful to me in many ways. I did some research to know why Microsoft has decided to remove sleep mode from windows 10 and I found out that they didn’t.

I checked my PC to see the impact of this and I noticed that this also affected other software on my PC that requires the video card. My FiFa 14 was moving like the olden days Sega.I bought the latest Driver Pack I could find in the market (Drivers Pack Solution 2015) and I used it to reinstall my video graphics cards. After that, the problem was solved. VerdictIf you ever face the problem of missing windows sleep mode – whether on Windows 10 or any other version of because I have noticed a lot of Windows 8/8.1 users complaining about missing windows sleep mode, – it is most likely because your graphics card is missing or out of date. You can fix this by reinstalling or updating your graphics card using drivers pack. TakeawayIn case you don’t know how to use the Drivers Pack, here is how to do thatYou don’t need to install the drivers pack, all you need is to run the DriversPackSolution.exe file and it will check for missing or out-of-date drivers. After the scan, it will show you the number of drivers that need to be installed or updated and some recommended programs. Just ignore the programs (unless there is any program there you think might be useful to you) and click on the “Drivers” tab and look for “Install” or “Update drivers”, click on it and your drivers will be reinstalled or/and updated.

I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you. This is likely due to the Display adapter which has the most control over Sleep and especially it's absence.Check for a newer Display driver on the PC Support Downloads webpage. While there check if there are other newer drivers to Update. You can take your time until they are all updated. There is a known issue of incorrect Display driver being pushed by Windows Update which requires rolling back the driver. Right click Start to open Device Manager, choose Display device, then Driver tab, then Roll back.If there is no Roll Back or that doesn't help, choose Update Driver on Display device Driver tab, then Browse Computer, then Let Me Pick to see a list of all previously installed Display drivers, work backwards trying each to find one that works. If necessary you can also go to SettingsUpdate & SecurityWindows Update to look for the driver under Installed Updates and Uninstall it form link there. Then you can hide the driver so it isn't pushed again using the Hide Updates tool downloaded from here:You can roll back Fall Creators Update Version 1709 to the older version until it matures:Then hide the Update using the Hide Update Tool so it doesn't try to force itself:I hope this helps.

It is now effectively taking a square picture and fitting it to a widescreen monitor so that everything is stretched out and squashed vertically.I am running a generic non-pnp driver and have tried updating it but it didn’t help. The rollback option is greyed out.Sylvia.
