And like most materials, they can drop from both enemies and in-level containers. For brand new players, Phobos will be the first place you can find plastids though their drop rate is minimal. Keep a keen eye out for the plastid carapaces that can sometimes be found on Phobos missions.

If you're having trouble with higher-level zones like Saturn and are trying to grind plastids to build a stronger warframe, like, you'll want to scour these levels carefully. If you're capable of handling missions on Saturn, Uranus, Pluto and Eris, however, farming plastids becomes much easier. Mission types like defense and survival will bombard you with endless waves of enemies. This typically makes them the best type of mission for resource gathering, since everyone you kill is another chance to earn the material you want. The longer you stick around, the greater those chances increase—along with the quality of rewards you earn in the meantime.

A number of mods and companions can increase the odds of finding what you need, or at least relieve the tedium of collecting them, once you get where you’re going. The, for instance, comes with the. This periodically triggers an effect which might double your loot for two minutes.

Then there’s the more common. This will give your Kavat or Kubrow a percentage chance to open otherwise locked lockers on any mission—any of which might contain your preferred mineral. And finally, the can equip the Looter mod. The item’s resulting shock wave will save you the trouble of destroying secure crates by blowing them up for you.

Of course, all Sentinels can also equip the, which might just be the most useful mod of all. This handy little tool sucks up any loot you approach automatically—which mostly eliminates the risk of sprinting right past whatever resources you’re looking for without seeing them. Finally, one last option is to set up a Titan Extractor on Uranus, which will farm plastids (and a few other resources) passively in real time. You'll need to beat every mission on Uranus first, but once you do you can purchase a Titan Extractor blueprint from the market and set it up using the Star Chart map. All you'll need to do is keep an eye on its health and wait four hours for it to complete a harvesting cycle and you'll have a good deal of plastids to use.

I just started playing two months ago so the overwhelming 'what do I do' is still fresh for me. I looked around and couldn't find a clear, recent list of the Sentinel mods people actually LIKED and recommended all in one place so - here's to you my fellow noobs. Personal opinion, naturally.Sentinel specific is always good, it's what you use them for.

The only ones on that list I don't use is Looter and combat precepts because I don't like my sentinel pulling aggro. Special shoutout to Detect Vulnerability.I prioritize my global sentinel mods Warframe Survivability, Utility, Sentinel Survivability.Animal Instinct, Mediray, Vacuum, Primed Regen, Guardian are must haves. I prioritize anywhere from 1-3 sentinel survivabiltiy mods, shields aren't too bad when they usually take chip damage they can regenerate.Personal flex preferences are Shield Charger, because there's a lot of times the sentinel is doing nothing, so I like to have it do something, anything at all.Fired Up is good for certain weapons, must have for a combat companion. Sacrifice is popular for most utility users, especially for endurance runs or solo.

Coolant Leak is on the weaker side of utility. Sanctuary is useless after the War Within.Self Destruct and Spare Parts are only used when you have no other mods, and are counterintuitive to the sheer utility sentinels bring while alive. IMO, most if not all sentinel specific are good, except Looter (if you want to break containers, Ignis as well as some other tactics is much faster). However, I usually take out the basic attack precept (except on Diriga where it's the other way around). For generic/universal sentinel mods, survivability mods are all good (though generally, I prioritize precepts over them).Fired up seems good unless you remove the attack precept or sentinel weapon.Sanctuary becomes less useful once you've progress the starchart and do certain quests, and/or if you're using certain frames.Coolant Leak seems nice, but I think it now alerts enemies. Either way, I find the other precepts more preferable than it.Self Destruct and Spare parts IMO aren't really good since both of them triggers on Sentinel death - something you'd want to avoid because you'd lose the benefits of the other mods (mainly Vacuum). The rest are all good.
